Background:
This project was a team assignment in the course ‘Learning Environments for Adults‘, as part of the Master of Science program in Educational Sciences. The goal was to redesign a chapter in the ‘Civic Orientation’ program, to include cooperative learning principles, based on the CLIM method.
As a group, we aimed to put more agency in the hands of the civic orientation students, by -instead of providing pre-scripted materials- encouraging them to gather authentic information folders on the Flemish education system and to be involved in their children’s’ education.
The project includes a practice book for students; a teacher guidebook; and a reflection paper for assessment purposes.
